Perseverance in a Home Based Business is Desired For a Success Business

I am sure you have heard of the story about the Tortoise and the Hare. Or what about The little engine that could. They are great stories that teach our kids the value of perseverance. Yet in our own business or MLM affiliate marketing we fall short of the one thing that we spend our whole life telling our kids. That they can do anything they put their minds to, as long as they do not give up.

SO WHAT IS PERSEVERANCE

Perseverance is a commitment of hard work, patience, and Endurance. It is trying again and again. It is knowing that you are likely to encounter difficulties, but able to handle them calmly and without complaint.

When you have a home based business, either MLM or brick and mortar you are going to face challenges along the way. The people who succeed in business are the ones who know how to handle the pressure of the problems they face on a daily basis. It’s when you are faced with a problem that you will find out weather or not you have enough perseverance to deal with the issues at hand

WE ALL HAVE A LEVEL OF PERSEVERANCE

It’s true. We all have certain obstacles in our life where we have pressed on and refused to give up until we accomplished the task at hand. Just think about when you were learning to ride a bike. You would see all of your friends on their bikes riding and you wanted to ride with them so bad. You got on your bike and tried to balance the bike as you tried to ride it. You would fall because you had not learned to balance the bike upright while you were in motion above it. you may have even skinned up your knee, but did you give up? Of course you didn’t. You knew if you gave up you would never get to ride with your friends. You showed perseverance by getting up, getting back on the bike and trying again and again until you could ride your bike without falling. Other ways that you may have shown perseverance in your life would be examples like; giving up tv time to study, saved money to buy something when you could of spent the money on other things etc.

SO WHY DO YOU STRUGGLE IN YOUR MARKETING BUSINESS

Every problem or struggle that you face can be directed to a lack of perseverance. We give up to easily when we have problems that come our way. Some of the ways that you struggle are:
Escape or avoid the problem.
Blame yourself.
Blame other people.
Blame chance.
Blame other things, forces or powers.

Failure is the path of least persistence. If you give up on marketing or any business then you were not beat by the system, You were beaten by yourself. I believe in teaching what you walk and only walking in the shoes of someone else you wouldn’t mind following after. We all would like to walk in the shoes of someone that is successful and seems to have it all together. Believe me when I tell you that he/she didn’t get there without perseverance. Dealing with struggles is just a part of life. We spend our entire life teaching our kids that, but we forget it as soon as we are faced with a problem in our life. Let me put it this way. If you have it in your head that you are going to fail, you have done two things. You have set yourself up for failure due to your beliefs. and second you are admitting that you don’t have what it takes to deal with problems when they arise.

SO WOULD YOU WANT YOUR KIDS TO WALK IN YOUR SHOES?

That question takes on a whole new approach now. Sometimes I think we forget that the lessons we are teaching our children are lessons that we need to take a step back and ask ourselves if we are walking the walk that we talk. If you are then thats great. For most of us though, we need a good lecturing once in a while to keep us in line with reality.

SO WHAT CAN I DO TO BE MORE DILIGENT OR PERSEVERE?

MAKE A QUALITY DECISION: A quality decision is a decision that you only have to make once. Make the decision that no matter what, you will not let any problem get in your way that you can’t fix.

FACE AND ACCEPT WHAT HAPPENS IN YOUR LIFE: Now I’m not saying that you have to be content with what going on in your life. It surely doesn’t mean that you should deny it either. You accept the fact that a situation has happened or that you are faced with a challenge. Then you face it head on with the knowing that you have made a quality decision to not let that get in your way of accomplishing your goals.
