Panic attack and disorder?

I am truly sick of seeing people quite their jobs and change because of Panic Attacks. I want to hear successful people who succeded and were able to beat their attacks and still do what they were without medication. I want to hear from some fighters. I am 15 and have had panic disorder for 5 months and I hate saying that but like I get very anxious etc every day in school. I just find it to be normal I am not on any medication anor therapy. It seems to me that I get anxious in uniform situations where you cant get out of order. Also I wanted to say I have been able to retain my GPA of 4.20 which is not good in my case my full potential would be 4.50 but like lets hear some success stories. LETS HEAR THEM. Are there any you would like to share?

I have two friends who do very well and sometimes have panic attacks.

One has a vision disorder, that when it is acting up can trigger an attack. But she’s not quitting her job over it. She’s raising two kids, working and is quite a giving person and activist.

The other has had attacks related to chemotherapy meds. She can tell when they’re coming on after a treatment and she does what she needs to do to deal with it – although, sure she gets upset – its scary to have an attack and know you have cancer too. But she’s still a full time mom of 4 kids who is going to college and doing her best.

I think a lot of people persevere through anxiety, but sometimes they hit a brick wall and need encouragement to get through. Actually feeling like you are going to die, are being suffocated, etc. is a challenging thing. One part of you knows better, but the rest of your body is trying to tell you otherwise.

I guess what I’m saying is that I’m all for success stories keeping in mind the compassion we need to have for people when they are overwhelmed.
