Creating Positive Change In Your Life

Opposite to a globally held perception that people do not adjust, I say to everyone that people do adjust and change over time to significantly alter and improve their live. I say this with complete trust as I have seen this happen time and time again. Establishing constructive adjustment in their live is absolutely feasible. They know what they have to do to live a transform life.

When they make that firm commitment to make adjustments in their lives, it will come to pass. Any commitment established as a meaningful desire in support of growth is a start in the right direction. Once they have made that choice, with total knowledge and honest acceptance of their goals, they are free to move on to a better and improved life.

Change is desired in various stages. In big business, we might seek out more useful leader or manager to help increase productivity. That being true, we are also forced to look at changing the ways in which we deal with our consumers, colleagues and co-workers. We have to incorporate methods and techniques to help motivate and improve communication skills to better serve the public.

Change may mean a new career path, life style or relationship. It could symbolize more trust, self-esteem and diplomacy.

Be mindful that change is a journey. It must take the path of deep and focused inner work to help push its way through before the outer work can begin. That is forever the situation. That is life. Enjoy

3. Which online university or college is best for you:

There are hundreds of colleges and universities offering online degrees. But not all of them are equally good. Some are good, some are not-so-good and some are outright bad. Look at costs, time factor, course content, faculty, accreditation and transferability of credits, and all other possible factors that can impact your decision about which college or university is best for you. It is not easy to compare different colleges and universities and there are many dangers. Hence, the more thorough your research the better will be your choice.

4. Find out all you need to know about accreditation:

Almost all online colleges and universities offering online degrees boast of some accreditation or the other. But all accreditations are not the same. Accreditations by any of the eight regional accrediting bodies funded by the US Department of Education and authorised by the department to grant accreditations, are the most valuable and absolutely risk-free. Accreditations from other bodies are risky. Two states – Michigan and Oregon – have also put out negative lists as to which colleges and universities are not recognised or rather degrees from such colleges and universities are not recognised. Make it a point to find out whether the college or university you are thinking of entering is not in any of these two lists because then the degree that you earn will be worthless. In short, avoid colleges and universities known as diploma mills.

Importance of Setting Goals

Importance of Setting Goals
by Tom Nehrenz

How many times have you heard about the importance of setting goals? Career gurus, wealth managers, weight loss specialists and life coaches all seem to live and die by goal setting. Why are goals so important to them?

The simplest analogy to highlight the importance of setting goals is that of taking a trip. Whether you take the old-fashioned method of plotting your trip on an atlas, whether you use Google maps, or you have a GPS, you always plan out your route ahead of time. If you are hyper-organized you may even take the time to plot alternate routes in case you run into trouble on the highway. Life is a journey, and you can’t get successfully where you want to go if you do not plot out a route towards your destination. There is no getting from point A to point B without setting goals.

When goals are set, the future is planned. There is no guessing where you will be in a week, a month, a year. You already know where you are going. Once you have a tangible list of the things that are important to you and that you want to accomplish, you’ve won half the battle. Napoleon Hill, the grandfather of personal success literature, said that goal setting is the starting block of all achievement, and goal setting is also the stumbling block of 98% of people who seek achievement because they never clearly defined an end point. So if you take the time to set goals, you have a much higher chance of success than 98% of the rest of the world.

In addition to defining your end point, setting goals helps keep you focused. Once you have your goals written down on a piece of paper and possibly shared them with a friend, spouse or coach, you are accountable for those goals. Anyone who has achieved success, whether personally or professionally, can attest to the importance of focus. Life moves quickly and if you do not have clearly defined goals you can easily become distracted from your purpose, until eventually your goals are completely forgotten. Focusing on your goals keeps your mind moving, constantly coming up with new ways to achieve.

Setting goals also creates confidence. Once you have your road map in-hand, and you are focused on reaching your destination, your confidence will be much higher than if you simply stumble around blind hoping to achieve success.

So setting goals is important because they keep you confidently focused and on track to accomplishing your desired outcomes in life.
