admin There are 3 kinds of scholarships grants offered to college students :
1) Athletic scholarship grant,
2) Academic scholarship grant,
3) Each is geared to a specific group of student and standards before awarding the grant.
Academic Scholarship Grant
Academic Scholarship Grant is awarded to students who achieve an eligible} GPA or have an exceptional academic performance prior to entering college. The grant is normally awarded to students who have received honors. IT is typically automatically awarded when the student enters college or university. However, most schools require an application from the student for an academic scholarship grants.
Upon passing an academic scholarship grant, the student must keep a high average grade. If not ,at the end of the term the colleges and universities will put the student on probation until he or she reached the approved level. If the student fail to maintain a passing grade level, thie institution has the rights to terminate the academic scholarship grand.
Athletic Scholarship Grant
Athletic Scholarship Grant . Many students with a competitive edge chase after an athletic scholarship grant. An athlete wants to go through college for free using this type of scholarship. Some even dream to finish college as an athlete and enter the professional field. With good personal marketing and exceptional skill in any sport, Any student should be able to apply and get this type of scholarship granted.
Departmental Awards
This type of scholarship grant is offered directly from the department of the school. It provide the student with the option to stay or take up his or her studies on a particular department. Usually, it is offered to exceptional students with desire to take other fields. The departmental awards are given so as not to keep the students in the department. Or, it is given to attract interested students to take classes at a particular department.
