Do you have any ideas?

I am a small business owner and I want to start a small support group for women business owners. I really want our meetings to be fun, relaxing and focus on sharing success stories, ideas, books, etc. Members are free to network, but I want to mainly focus on support/accountability. Do you have any ideas or suggestions for what we discuss/do at our meetings to support each other in our business endeavors?

To support each other you can always find ways to cross advertise, where you provide each-other with free advertising in exchange for the same privilege. This can set up a network of businesses for shoppers, you can even offer gift cards good at all your stores and businesses.

As for discussions, just let it flow. Have networking lunches, let them just go where they will. You may also wish to bring up some specific topics, like being a working mom, or balancing family and business and such, as those always seem important.

Also consider putting something online, like a myspace group, or facebook group, this can extend your social networking to the web, and attract other business owners that you may never have had a chance to encounter otherwise.
